PRESEASON TRAINING STARTS SEPTEMBER 7, 2006
San Diego Arsenal FC will open its pre-season training on September 7, 2006. All returning players as well as new players selected at open tryouts must attend the training. Information as to specifics will be mailed to returning players and new players received information at the tryouts. Please be on time and keep in mind parking may be limited and you may need to park down the street at the lower parking lot and even at the shopping center. See you then!

OVER 70 ATTEND OPEN TRYOUTS
San Diego Arsenal F.C. held open tryouts on August 19, 2006 for its upcoming season. Having three teams in three seperate divisions of the San Diego County Soccer League will require a large infusion of new talent, and there was plenty to choose from. The club will be adding anywhere from 20 to 30 new players and several players were selected and invited to the club's preseason training. Those new players will now compete with returning players for respective roster positions on the three teams. Pre-season training will commence on September 7, 2006 by invitation only.

'A Brief History'
San Diego Arsenal was established in 1993 as one 3rd Division Team. The Club started purely as a recreational soccer club but over the years developed into a competitive men's soccer program, with multiple teams, providing a structured program for dedicated players to improve their games or seasoned professionals wanting to keep sharp in the off season. Throughout its existence, the Club has provided players a myriad of opportunity and an environment to learn, have a good time and become better players. The coaching staff is all volunteer and do their thing for the love of the game and their loyalty to the players they train. Even with the competitive nature and quality of players, one thing has not been lost - enjoying the beautiful game. We are proud to be part of San Diego's rich soccer landscape and hope to have a successful and entertaining campaign this coming season. The Club will welcome back returning players and many new faces and will continue its tradition of giving it all we can.
